YSL pure chromatics 4 wet & dry eyeshadows No. 1, 3, 4

I bought a couple of YSL pure chromatics 4 wet & dry eyeshadows a month ago. They're all powder eyeshadow quads, were released early spring 2011.

“Water does not dilute, but enhances color pigments in Pure Chromatics. When used wet, the water rehydrates the eye shadows and gives full intensity to their pigments. The effect is the satiny powder transforms into a luxurious cream while pearls shine with a metallic finish.”

Water-activated eye shadow palettes in colors that transform into a radiant, intense, metallic finish. These eye shadows can be used dry, like a traditional eye shadow, for a subtle shimmering effect, or wet, for a full-intensity pigment metallic finish. Once pigments are mixed with water, dry, pure-pigmented powders are left with a very high level of shimmer.

  •  Use dry for a soft satin finish: Apply dry using the sponge applicator (included in the palette) or any eye shadow brush. Powders melt into the skin to create a soft, silky effect.

  • Use wet for an intense metallic finish: Dip the silicone applicator (included in the palette) or any eye shadow brush into water and blend into eye shadow. Satiny powders instantly become metallic.

I particularly like No. 4.The shades are great, and the pigments are amazing. I'm pretty satisfied so far!
