AHA stands for alpha hydroxy acid and commonly contains glycolic acid, lactic acid or salicylic acid, which is a skin care product ingredient made from fruit, milk or sugar cane. The makers of products with AHA promote its ability to reduce the signs of aging and to improve acne. Lactic (from milk), glycolic (from sugar cane) and citric acids (from oranges and lemons) are the most commonly used AHAs.
AHAs penetrate the dead surface cells of the skin, loosening the molecular bonds that attach them to the underlying tissues. The loose cells slough off, exposing newer skin.
Vitamin B5, also called pantothenic acid, is one of eight B vitamins. Vitamin B5 helps the body produce energy and promotes the health of the skin, hair, eyes and liver. Provitamin B5 is used in skin care because of its ability to stabilize the metabolism of the skin surface, penetrate into deeper layers of the skin and stimulate the formation of skin pigments. It also acts as a lubricant and retains the natural moisture balance of the skin, helping to make the skin appear soft and smooth.
Product comes in a plastic pump bottle. The liquid inside the bottle is very light pink in color and a bit thick, silky in texture. Recommended for Normal/Dry Skin. I use 3 pumps for my face. It has a bit of fragrance smell, which I don't like. Otherwise, it actually makes my skin fresh, smooth and silky. And I does feel a slight exfoliating. This product has good price performance(abt 100sek).
